- Symphonies Series - Sabrang and Bharatanatyam
- Sabrang will be sharing an eclectic mix of Punjabi folk songs, associated with the region of Punjab in Northern India With the added dimension of the acoustic guitar, the popular songs successfully combine the passion of the east with the sensibilities of the west.
After the break we will be presenting a Bharatanatyam dance recital. Bharatanatyam is an ancient South Indian dance style that like the vocal tradition, has originated from a temple setting. It is a very narrative dance style and many tales from Hindu Mythology are expressed through it.
