Starting with an old story about a king's wish to learn how to sculpt, Kamaljeet captivated a capacity crowd in the Yorkshire Sculpture Park's auditorium from start to finish. The story was told to explain the link between her paintings that were exhibited in the background and her music.
The audience enjoyed the north indian classical music recital, delivered in Kamaljeet's own individual style. Accompaniment was provided by the very talented tabla Upneet Singh, with Sukhmani Kaur playing the tanpura in the background.
