Manasamitra is a Yorkshire-based arts organisation which delivers a repertoire of traditional south Asian arts and cultural experiences in traditional and innovative ways. The company is motivated by artistic creativity and likes to take risks. It also actively embraces difference through collaborations which bring together diverse disciplines, skills, talents and cultures to create new and exciting touring productions, special one-off commissioned performances, vibrant work in schools and the wider community. The company has matured significantly over the last few years and is at an interesting juncture delivering a range of projects with a breadth of partners.

The company is looking for someone with experience in general management; a dynamic self-starter interested in joining an ambitious and creative team, bringing their skills and expertise to help maintain its present level of development. The role has a high degree of autonomy requiring the post-holder to manage their own workload.

This is a new post generously supported for 3-years by the Esme Fairbairn Foundation. The post was created in response to the growing workload of the organisation which has seen a significant increase over the last 4-years. Consequently, requiring more focussed general management resources to facilitate its working arrangements and to sustain its growth. The post holder will deliver a key role in the company by leading in the development and implementation of a comprehensive general management function working directly to the CEO/Artistic Director.
