Spring Fest! - Expression/ Asamkam at 'Church at West Bretton'
Expression/ Asmakam was a traditional presentation of the classical dance style of South India called Bharatanatyam. This performance, devised just for Spring Fest!, left the audience mesmerised with the range of dances presented from the Alarippu to the Tillana in a brisk, graceful and well choreographed manner. The dances were also accompanied by three paintings created by Chloe Brown in the traditional Indian miniature style of painting.The dancers for the evening were Lakshminarayanan Ganesan, Shrikant Subramaniam and Gyuzel Flanagan.
