Stories from around the world swirl together with music to create the background to a restful and meditative bedtime story ritual. In 2020, Manasamitra were commissioned to create a new work that celebrated books, reading and all things word….
Stories were invited from different corners of the world in multiple languages and formed the soundscape in which adults and children were invited to listen, enjoy and relax into. Selected stories from across the globe were then read and recited with musical interludes.
All in all, a very relaxing and rejuvenating story time reading that was enjoyed by both adults and children alike.
Following a very successful outing to 5 libraries in Dewsbury and Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, the show is scheduled as part of the IMAGINE festival at Southbank Centre on the 9th and 10th of February 2022
